Ventures

Still in the arena.

I don’t advise from the sidelines. These are the businesses I’m building right now.

BLE Training

Corporate training, leadership development, and proctored testing. Built from zero to 50+ people across six cities in five states.

I founded BLE Training in March 2007. It delivers instructor-led, virtual and webcast training, plus proctored testing, for hospitals, universities and companies in more than 40 industries, from six locations across Maryland, Pennsylvania, Texas, Ohio and Kansas.

The work runs from technical software training to leadership development and train-the-trainer workshops that teach subject-matter experts how adults actually learn. Behind it is an operating system I built so delivery is repeatable, not heroic: live dashboards, an onboarding app, and scheduling and attendance tools that show every site’s staffing and readiness at a glance.

Family Business Performance Group

Succession, governance, and family-meeting facilitation for multi-generational businesses.

When the hard part is the family, not the business. Family Business Performance Group works with multi-generational enterprises on succession, governance, family-meeting facilitation and conflict mediation, from a four-week health assessment to ongoing counsel.

The goal is simple to say and hard to do: a business that’s ready to change hands, and a family that’s still a family when it does.

CourseBldr.ai / InstructorKit

An AI-powered builder for instructor-led training kits, launched with my family as co-founders.

Most organizations hand their trainers a slide deck and call it a course. InstructorKit is built on a different premise: trainers need an instructional system.

Every kit includes twelve deliverables, from the facilitator guide and participant workbook to activities, assessments and delivery supports, all designed to the standards professional instructional designers use: ADDIE, Bloom’s, Gagné’s Nine Events and Kirkpatrick. It’s thirty-five years of classroom experience, turned into a product.

About ten companies over my career.

Some worked. Some taught me more.
